I've come across a strange message on one of my servers MSdistribution_history tables. The server is part of a 3 node topology involved in peer to peer replication. I noticed this message while browsing the history log on the Replication Monitor for the distribution agent. The message states:
Applied the snapshot(s) and delivered 218346 transaction(s) with 5001 command(s).
This appears under the distribution agent for one of the subscriptions. There is a related row that matches this history in the MSsnapshot_agents, but there is no job on the server with that name. The MSsnapshot_history is empty.
Is this just a bug? Has anyone ever come across this before? I've never specified creating a snapshot agent when i created the publication. Row counts are generally the same across the tables.
