We are currently using SQL Server 2008 in a merge replication environment,
using a total of two servers. We have a few tables that have identity
columns and we would like to reseed them. We currently
have our identity range management set to automatic. All identity
columns have a data type of int.
Ideally what we would like to do is reseed the identity columns
within the tables and keep the existing data in the tables.
What is your recommendation on what should be done?
