Hi,
I have a number of Transactional replications and want to receive an email in case that any of them retries or fails. I enabled both alerts of"Replication: agent retry" and "Replication: agent failure" on the test server and stopped the subscriber to enforce retries and generating errors. It just sent a message to the eventviewer, but no emails were sent. I also made a job of one step that sends an email and configured the alert to execute this job. Finally, I enabled the email profile of Alert system from the instance properties to ensure sending the email. However, it still does not send any emails. Can anyone help??
