sys.fn_cdc_get_max_lsn() is giving error

  This function don't have facility to extract the instance specific LSN, As we have with sys.fn_cdc_get_min_lsn.

.fn_cdc_get_min_lsn('tablename').. Is there any other way to extract the instance specific lsn
